Hello everyone! My name is YourRisingStorm but I am also known as Christopher (I prefer not to be called Chris), YRS, Soundwave, Storm, Sounders, 'Wave, et cetera. I am currently 19 years old and I live in the wonderful country, Canada. My gender is male and I am straight. First thing you should know about me is I am a follower of Jesus Christ and I strongly support my faith in deviations and journals. If you are offended by this, do not state so in a comment or spread any hate on any of my pages or works. And if you seek to do so, please don't; I only ask of you to simply click the "x" located at the top of your screen and have a nice day.

This page, YourRisingStorm, is my main page after I left my other page known as . I have done some things on that account that I am not proud with and, therefore, I sought to start afresh. Once I created this account, I never desired to change it: the username is perfect. c: In fact, I am still trying to think of a new username that could potentially be better than YourRisingStorm, but cannot find any results. XD

My artwork consists of nearly everything: drawings, photography, literature; I love to try out new things. My drawings- these can be coloured or just lineart- are quite rare as I do not often post such things on this userpage and are typically of furries and Transformers; sometimes even OCs. Most of my drawings I feel are not even worthy of this website so I refuse to post them. Yet, I do own many sketchbooks and these are covered with random doodles or whatnot. XD Photography is an art as I view it and I do my best to submit photos that others will enjoy. Yet, I do the odd, zero-faved photos every now and then but it is so hard due to amazing watchers! 8D To be perfectly honest, the programs I use to edit are mostly free trials or free programs, so if they are terrible in your opinion, there is your reason why. And of course my literature. Currently I am working on a story entitled Transformers: Salvation that a number of deviants enjoy. Please do not unwatch me because of this; I feel even an outsider's opinion is helpful to becoming a better writer. Also my other works are poetry I sum up in my head and tend to be free-verse, or just general literature that support my faith and beliefs.

Something that I feel you should all know about me is I really despise opinions that contradict against mine. I apologize that if I seem rude in anyway, I am 100 percent against your opinion; I do not hate you or dislike you. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion and I respect that from the bottom of my heart but when I am told that my beliefs are wrong; I tend to get flustered (some of you already are aware of this XD). If you want me to look at something that contradicts with my beliefs, I tend to refuse to look at it. This does not mean that someone else will not like it; it only means that I wish not to start a dispute about our opinions. There have been SOOO many that I have been involved in and now I try to abstain from them. However, in journals, I may state things I am fed up with or what ticks me off.

My main goal is to create a positive environment on deviantART and I aim to make people happy or just make them smile. This is mainly because I LOVE all people; no matter the race, skin colour, beliefs, or appearance; people are BEAUTIFUL and definitely a work of art. Also I have been depressed before and I do not want people to suffer; even if I could put a little smile on their face, my mission is done for the day with that person. I want to reach out to the deviants of deviantART and make them feel special in some way. Some of my methods include leaving encouraging feedback, giving llama badges, faving artwork, giving out features, and just simply telling people how awesome they are.

Of course, I LOVE receiving comments, favs, and watches myself but I am teaching myself to adhere to the principle that states: "it is more blessed to give than to receive". But I encourage you to comment on my artwork, because I am always seeking ways to improve. Even just popping on my page to say "hello" means A LOT to me. ^_^

Although I have a lot of friends and people I value, I do give out or dedicate art to people who really make me feel great or to whom I really appreciate. If I could, I would dedicate one of my works to all of you somehow or I will dedicate certain photographs to a number of people at a time. However, first and foremost, each and every one of my works is dedicated to my Saviour, Jesus Christ.
